Anna Paquin has been a New Zealand-Canadian theater, movie and television actress for over 20 years. It was not her intention to be an actress, but destiny decided that she should. After her successful debut in the industry, she was offered roles by many companies. However, she decided to remain focused on her studies and turned down every one of them. Her return to film came at age 14 to play in the role of the character of the mutant Rogue in X-Men which was the very first movie in the X-Men film series. The role earned international fame to her. In X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, she reprised her role of 'Rogue.' Also, in an appearance on screen, Elaine Goodale in Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee', for which her first Emmy nomination was received. Soon, she was received numerous offers to play on TV series, and she got a role in series such as 'True Blood' or "Flack.'
