Sometimes a glittering career hides many of the most tragic stories. Lolo is in her current place of prominence after years of hard work and perseverance. Jones' childhood was difficult because she was born to a single mother with a large family. Jones' mother moved constantly and even lived in the basement of the church. The sporadic lifestyle led Jones to switch to the same school each year up until her first day of high school. Jones moved away from her mother to Theodore Roosevelt to enable her to focus on her passion for track. She stayed in four houses during her years of high school, so she could study all in one location. She also was part of the winning team of 100-meter relay. Jones took home both the hurdles in the indoor as well as outdoor hurdles events at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones' career began in 2005 after she completed her degree. She began to train to pursue a track career that would be successful. In 2005 she was the winner of Torino Memorial race. Brandt relocated to Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. The local casting directors discovered her. Brandt took on the role of Naevia for the Starz smashes Spartacus: Blood and Sand as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences through her performances and became an one of the series' breakout actors. Lesley's career began with a handful of modeling projects. Then she appeared in countless commercial advertisements. In 2008 she completed her majors in acting and pursued further training in Meisner techniques of learning. Lesley Brandt's first notable actor role was on the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt has shown up on the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street in a visiting supporting appearance. Her next appearance was in This Is Not My Life. It is based off the actual tale of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Later, she played the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
